One-year Master Program in Casting Technology
A new master program in casting Technology is under development. It will generally be given as online courses for the actively employed as well as students with a bachelor of science. The program can be studied on full-time during a year, part-time or as individual courses depending on the individuals prior knowledge and experiences.
In order to adjust the program for the actively employed it will be given as online courses and at a study rate that makes it possible to combined work and studies. The program is a collaboration between academia, industry and branch institutes and will have strong connections to practice through the use of real cases and other activities.
The design of the program will be the focus of a project funded by the KK-foundation. The project is a collaboration between the School of Engineering (JTH) and Swerea SWECAST with the purpose to provide competence development for the actively employed and to educate master students for future recruitment.
The first courses are for the actively employed and will start during the spring semester of 2015.
